Made from split take (bamboo). The basket features a low, wide form with a broad handle arching overhead. It is constructed in the mutsume ami, or six eye, weaving style, which uses a three direction technique to form a geometric hexagonal lattice. The open body is framed by a thick golden bamboo rim secured with dark wire wrapping. Known as a hanakago,
