I came across this spot while photographing at Commons Park previously

British Columbia during a vacation a few years ago I spent much time with my macro lens getting close with many of the roses and other flowers in the gardens

I was watching the weather in the days leading up to the new year and it appeared the weather which brought a light dusting of snow on the last morning of 2012 would move on and clearing would start overnight

The access to the location where this image was taken was through a small stairwell which was pretty much one way traffic

The original East High School at 19th and Stout was demolished in 1925

The challenge in this image was the wind as my camera faced in a northern direction.
