Sunrise in Juneau Size:18"x24" As we reached the summit

As we reached the summit of Hallet Peak

This is when the leaves start to come back to life as shown on the trees outside the center on Speer

I headed back towards the Mendenhall Glacier

It was hard to believe almost all of the snow from a few days earlier was gone and replaced with blue skies

Sunrise in Juneau Size:18"x24" As we reached the summitI was looking out the window at the clouds moving just prior to sunrise. I grabbed my camera and quickly headed down to the Gastineau Channel just as the sun was rising for the last day of November. With some clouds around the sky started to light up over some mountains with fresh snow on them from the rain earlier in the week. The colorful skies lasted for a little while before the overcast skies moved back in for the remainder of the day.
