The 2012 also shows a bit more of a red toned fruit profile than other vintages. Red cherry, red plum, white pepper, gravel and cured meats lend notable aromatic complexity throughout. The 2012 is a bit slender but nicely done, just the same. It is the most accessible of the four Morlet 2012s I tasted for this
