Knotted Fiber Art Sculpture - Connected Aarya As I workedConnected is a sculptural fiber wall artwork that transforms traditional maritime knotting into a contemporary form. Cotton 25 x 3. 5 x 3 in 2023 Present Inspired by traditional nautical knots, this piece reinterprets the figure eight as a sculptural composition. I braid soft cotton using the macram crown knot technique and then shape the resulting rope into the nautical form, creating a tactile rhythm that bridges tradition and contemporary fiber
