I drove to Coronado and took some images after battling the temptation to sleep in that morning with the sound of heavy rain heard against the window as my alarm went off before sunrise

Looking to the east on the Hidden Lake trail in mid July there were still patches of snow around Logan Pass and the trail took us over some of those patches as well. Now that fall is here the park will start to close down at the higher elevations as the snow will soon start to fly in northern Montana.
