A few weeks earlier I captured the fall colors around the Governor's Mansion and thought it would be a good comparison to photograph around there during this late snowfall once again working the lines into the image

I started to hike towards Gastineau Peak

Heading to a familiar location I set up my camera and waited in the chilly conditions

At sunrise itself a cloud deck had built up providing a muted sunrise this year as the month of November starts

Clear Winter Day Size:18"x24" A few weeks earlier IIn 2008 I headed to Glacier National Park and explored the park in the winter months. This is quite different than in the summer due to much less of the park open and the numbers of visitors quite less at this time. On this day I believe I saw around 10 people in the park while exploring on snowshoes. Lake McDonald is pictured in this image from the shoreline just prior to sunset on a pleasant day to explore Glacier.
