I headed to the City Park Golf Course to find a good spot to capture the scene

At first it was a reflection of a mountain in the distance I noticed

With a setting of aspen trees and plenty of columbine underneath I photographed in the area for a while

California while in town for the holiday

I headed up Clear Creek Canyon with a friend who is familiar with the area from his many trips here fishing

As the early light made its way through the light fog in the valley I found an interesting shoreline to capture the soft light as well as the reflection on the quiet ponds.
