Megan Manwaring - Liberty Tulips Quilt Pattern olfa Rotary mats must be storedThe starting point for this quilt was the tulip block from Gwen Marston's book, Liberated String Quilts, which Gwen had referenced from anitique tulip quilts. This provided the start of the tulip flower shape. The sashing is drawn from antique medallion quilts and the squares set on point in the outside border carry over the style of the quilts.
