There is outstanding richness to the velvety and muscular big-bodied flavors that also coat the mouth with dry extract before exploding on the hugely long and impeccably balanced finish

Interestingly given the style of the vintage this isn’t quite a big and robust as it usually is which should permit it to be approachable after only 6 to 8 years yet it has the stuffing to effortlessly develop over 15 to 18

The palate is medium-bodied with impressive tension and wonderful freshness right from the start

The sauvage suffused nose of various dark berries is earthier still and this character can also be found on the rich and muscular medium weight flavors that display touches of rusticity and youthful austerity on the otherwise sneaky long finish.
