Sheep Creek Reflection I have used this perspective

I have used this perspective in the past couple of years to capture the change of seasons as well as the morning light against the Rocky Mountains

As I looked up I noticed the lines of the canopy and how they tell a different story from the location you look at them within the Union Station area

At sunrise itself a cloud deck had built up providing a muted sunrise this year as the month of November starts

In this area I spent close to an hour just photographing the section of road using different perspectives to tell the story of the area

For the span of thirty minutes we watched the skies lighten and the sun rise and then quickly go behind the clouds for start of another nice day

One of the effects of this is the change in the tide levels in Juneau with at times the next few days swings of 25 feet between high and low tide in the area. When flying into Juneau just a few hours earlier I noticed the tide was quite high, but when I was out at Sheep Creek it was nearing low tide already.
