This past weekend as the snow fell on and off all weekend I headed to near Larimer Square to photograph

Many of the wildflowers in the area were starting to peak which made a nice hike even more memorable

especially when standing on the edge of a river and you can't get much closer

This allowed a different reflection to be found when I was photographing and while capturing the color also provided some mystery to the scene

the show kicked off just before the fireworks display at Sports Authority Field after the Denver Outlaws game giving the crowd two shows to watch

Mendenhall Lake and Glacier Building This past weekend as theMendenhall Glacier is located north of downtown Juneau in an area referred to as the valley. As the glacier slowly recedes the lake is forming and started to do so in 1931. If you follow the glacier up it will run into the Juneau Ice Field which is currently the 5th largest in North America.
