Evening at Lake Tahoe Sloans Lake Just after sunrise the clouds

Just after sunrise the clouds lingered along the mountains prior to the sun burning them off

with some saved spikes and other pieces of the old street car line along Tennyson

During a snowstorm I started to photograph around Denver and found myself at Cheesman Park

On this day I decide to get out my camera and photograph up into the snow concentrating just on the main architectural point

The layers of the rocks and water itself helped ground the image to provide a sense of place with the orange sky during dusk which also lit up the only clouds I saw on this day

On one trip I headed out there at sunset to capture the scene which brought a little of pink to the sky on this end of the day. As this was February, the water levels were a little lower than I have seen in the most when visiting the lake and is quite noticeable in this image as well.
