Sashiko Sampler - Hana-Fukin Samplers malabrigo from cozy sweaters and wrapsSashiko is a Japanese style of un hooped embroidery that uses long running stitches to create beautiful images of dashed lines and intricate patterns. These hana fukin, or kitchen cloths, are a great introduction to the craft. The fabric is 100% cotton printed with markings that disappear when washed. The full cloth is 13. 5 x 27" with the design size 13. 5 x 13. 5". They are usually worked by seaming the short ends of the fabric together and
