While doing so a brief rain shower passed over the area making the paved roads wet and some of the dirt roads muddy

Just prior to leaving I came across a group of flowers in a quiet part of the park and spent close to thirty minutes just on these flowers

Once again I waited for the sun to rise and little and positioned it at the Four Seasons which is the middle of the skyline from this perspective

In October 2008 I was in the area during a week long trip to northern California

Independence Eve in Denver Size:16"x20" While doing so a briefWith the wildfires in Colorado (most of which are either at or nearing 100% containment) there are just a fraction of the normal fireworks display around Denver for the 4th of July. One which took place last evening was at Civic Center Park in Denver. Thousands of people showed up for the free concert by the Colorado Symphony and fireworks display to celebrate Independence Day.
