Afternoon from Steptoe Butte Presentation:Matted there is not a place

there is not a place to be wearing shorts and flip flops as you wait for the sun to rise

Denver is the Mile High City and in some places in town you will see mention of this elevation

the first snow was not until mid-November which is quite late

I tried a few concepts I was thinking about and just by playing with motion decided to use this in a few images

With the late afternoon sun skimming the edges of the hills of the Palouse the changes in elevation start to become enhanced with the difference of the light and shadow. In the rolling green of the area, signs of canola can be seen growing in the distance with the bright yellow.
