Rocks Under Ice Reflection The last couple of days

The last couple of days while driving along Speer Blvd I have noticed the changing leaves in the city with some of the trees already empty of leaves there are plenty of trees in peak color this fall

I knew the bridge was there as I have driven past it a few times in this area near Cherry Creek Dam

As the color peaks I have been out photographing around the city and captured this image in Lakewood last week

The details on this one reminded me almost of a sponge

Rocks Under Ice Reflection The last couple of daysOn a November day, I headed back towards the Mendenhall Glacier. Even though it was a sunny day it has been cold enough lately that the lake near the glacier is starting to freeze allowing you to walk onto the ice. Now that it is been frozen for just a few days probably not too wise to be out there however there were a few people skating across the lake. Looking down near the shoreline some interesting formations with the rocks and the bubbles
