It was an evening when aircraft were taking off to the north which allowed me to get a little closer then when I did a similar image in 2008 south of the airport

however I pushed myself and got to the location just after sunset hoping to catch dusk over the city

At first it appeared the clouds may be a little better north of my location but just after that thought this occurred making it a great sunset over the Mile High City of Denver

Over the course of a couple of weeks it was a morning routine to go to this spot and photograph and after a while some of the regulars would stop and chat
