although the overdrive here is coming from the superb Hawk HR-45 on top of the tape echo (with thanks to Ben and Pete from Elephant Disco for coming to the office and putting a load of the gear through some serious workouts):

Old battery removed and corrosion/debris removed with brush and isopropyl alcohol in several applications

They appear rarely and one has been a secret weapon in the studio for some time

the heads and internal surfaces are clean
