Tyrian Purple Hue Series 4 - G Large Botanical PaletteThis deep, moody colour is perfect wherever shadows are required and creates interesting grey violets when used in washes. Artists Notes: Tyrian Purple Hue is a muted, dark cool grey violet incredibly useful in rendering stormy skies and moody atmospheric scenes with clouds and rain. It is also helpful in evening scenes and seascapes. Paint Makers Notes: Our Tyrian Purple Hue is similar in hue to the historic Tyrian Purple pigment used in antiquity.
