Hemlock Lake dog overalls sweet berriesHemlock Lake is one of the minor Finger Lakes. It is mostly located in Livingston County south of Rochester with some parts extending into Ontario County. Hemlock Lake is about seven miles long, one half mile wide and has a maximum depth of just over 90 feet. Since the lake is used as a water source for the Rochester area, swimming is not permitted and boat access is restricted. Fishing is a major draw for the lake as it contains salmon, rainbow and
