Chateau Fonreaud750 Ml Bottle:12 LAH9V): Light orangeDarkly pigmented, medium ruby red color, with purple hues at the rim. On the nose bitter coffee notes overlay restrained black fruit aromas. On the palate cassis & black plum fruit is supported by fresh acidity. The wine is of mid weight. Plentiful drying tannins close up the mid palate. The alcohol is well in balance, but the palate lacks harmony at present & the tannins leave the finish short.
