Lines of the Facade Building There were plenty of people

There were plenty of people running up and down the steps of across the rows within the amphitheater

This year was no different as I silhouetted the downtown skyline to capture the color of the sky and the lines of downtown

At sunrise itself a cloud deck had built up providing a muted sunrise this year as the month of November starts

On this evening capturing some fireworks over Coors Field

and made the walk across Civic Center Park for the inauguration which was the day after this image was taken

Lines of the Facade Building There were plenty of peopleLooking up at a building I noticed the repeating lines of the facade which drew my eye. With that I was able to zoom in just to capture this portion of the Chicago building and how the lines and patterns work with the shape of the building. A final conversion to black and white allows these elements to be stronger in the frame of the image I capture here.
