Charlot Murals In Georgia Comic Book Artists Apple Computer advertising design (30Jean Charlot (1897 1979) learned mural painting in the 1920s under Diego Rivera and created some 75 murals over his lifetime. He painted three large scale murals while an artist in residence at the University of Georgia (1941 1944) and wrote this book about them. Charlot's blocky figures were a primary influence on contemporary illustrator Douglas Fraser.
