The round, delicious and velvet textured middle weight flavors retain a lovely sense of detail and energy, all wrapped in a refined and again youthfully austere finish. The 2017 Vosne Romane Clos des Ras 1er Cru, Michel Gross monopole, was matured in 50% new oak. It has a floral bouquet of mainly black fruit with veins of blue, all infused with iris and violet.
