His focus is on the Do region, where he replanted vineyards at Quinta do Ribeiro Santo in thin granitic soils and acquired Quinta de Santa Maria in Cabanas de Viriato, a 10 hectare plot of old vines planted with Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrochiero, and Jaen. The vineyards are farmed using an integrated crop
