The book is a photographic account of Bostelmanns journeyings through Latin America, looking at the injustices still meted out to the Indian and the mestizo in the region, both of whom remain the most likely citizens to be exploited forced to do menial jobs in the factories and on the land, sometimes to the point of slavery (Gerry BADGER). Introduction in Spanish by Carlos Fuentes. Cover design
