It gives off delicate and complex aromas of red well ripened fruits, of almonds and subtle "earthy" notes. This wine with its earthy notes goes extremely well with casseroled pigeon. The nose here is floral and pretty with blue fruit and hints of strawberries. Medium bodied, firm and tannic with linear acidity that gives the wine drive and substance.
