Kashan Prayer Design Silk Rug Portraits Item code: MR063AGA paradise design carpet based on a fine early 20th Century Kashan prayer rug, with pure silk pile hand woven on a cotton foundation to 256 knots per square inch. The ivory field with stylised polychrome vase at the bottom end issuing meandering multicoloured floral vines and perching birds flanked by stylised floral plants and single column at each side supporting brick red, ivory and green similar midrib, in an indigo border of similar flowering
