Although they may look similar to leather, they are made with a durable coated webbing that can withstand the elements. They are waterproof, mold resistant, and low maintenance! We use zinc alloy coated buckles and solid brass hardware, both of which are resistant to rust. Brass hardware can patina with use when exposed to water + sun
