It can be adjusted at the base, in the middle of the chrome arm and the shade itself. This way the light can be positioned in any way desirable. For this reason the base is pretty heavy, as to keep it in place. The lamp requires one E26 27 lightbulb and currently has an EU plug (easily used outside EU with plug converter).
