There was huge numbers of bucking stock horses AND bulls, in big roomy pens behind the grandstand. They all seemed pretty happy, surrounded by fresh water and mountains of hay. As usual there was quite the variety of colour and conformation call it "eye candy". As shown here, this painting is unframed on a cradle board, but
