Plenty of books have hand drawn diagrams, but almost nothing exists for visual learners. Thats why I created this series, starting with basket fundamentals: reed sizes, how to read a pattern, and recommended tools. This first installment covers those essentials and leads directly into Parts Two and Three, which focus on bases, weaving techniques, and rimming.
