Cirelli Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo, 2024 NO20231025 made with Cheval Blanc's customaryItaly's most famous ros, made by Francesco Cirelli on his 22 hectare biodynamic farm near Atri, just a few miles from the Adriatic in Abruzzo. Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo is the traditional rosato style of the region, made from Montepulciano with a short skin contact that gives it a deep cherry pink color (cerasuolo means cherry like). Cirelli farms organically since 2006 and is biodynamic certified since 2021. Hand harvested, fermented with native yeasts in
