GD Vajra Barolo 'Albe' 2021 Appelation and Kitty Oestlien over aVajra's 'Albe' Barolo is everything we're looking for in a good bottle of Barolo: aromatic, structured, and insanely ageworthy. Fruit for this cuve comes from three separate vineyard sites and is extensively aged in Slavonian casks. Ruby hued in the glass, the wine shows flavors of tart red fruit, pine, wet earth, rose petals, and baking spice. We recommend laying down and revisiting in another five years.
