星屑を抱く天目の景

本作には、奈良・薬師寺東塔を令和の大修理で解体した際、心礎（しんそ）周辺から採取された基壇土が調合されております。鉄分と珪酸を多く含むこの古土は千三百年の風化を経て鉱物結晶を宿し、焼成後も石英粒が星屑のように煌めきます。掌に取りますと、大和の大地の息吹と古塔の祈りがほのかに伝わってまいります。
