The palate is medium bodied with crisp tannin, quite linear and structured, and with a fine line of acidity towards the finish. The 2018 Gevrey Chambertin Croix des Champs is more than 55% whole cluster. That stem addition comes across a little strongly on the nose and occludes the terroir profile. The medium bodied palate offers firm tannins, plenty of red berry
