This striking beetle was inspired by the Chrysolina Fatuosa Beetle which is tiny in real life but is just as colourful as this brooch

The triangular sections running through the chain are loosely inspired by African patterns as I felt the lion had a real African vibe about it and I wanted to bring it out further
